We generally crushed mediocre teams and gave a good effort versus winning teams or at least got enough garbage yards and scores to make it look closer than it appeared against those teams. Such a shame.

The only thing I will disagree with you about there is it is VERY EASY for me to say they did not deserve the division. Obviously Philly didn't either, but someone had to go I guess...

The shame is that it isn’t hard to look back in retrospect and see where it went off the rails. Certain losses were inexcusable and certain losses were winnable had components of the team been in sync. Bottom line for me is too many times coaching decisions and coaching preparation let the team down. And - that should soon be rectified. For better or worse.

I was on way home and my dad was giving me play by play. You should have heard what he said about this play.

perhaps, but our prolific offense was not so hot against good teams and defenses when it counted. We can bash the defense but we lost games where we gave up 12, 13 and 17 points. We also lost to a Jets team on the road where we gave up 24 and the offense did not help with critical mistakes. Problems more glaring than the defense.
