And I'm glad I did because when I would say that they would win it before they would lose. So maybe it's better I go the other way now. It might give them some luck.

Kings need to score more than one goal a game. Can't depend on Quick getting a shut out very game in the playoffs.
Brown still doing ok as a third liner

I thought the Kings played a solid defensive first game. Washington also was steady with their defensive effort. Something different from their team too. Kings had numerous chances and even hit a post late in the game. Hopefully they can get it turned around in the playoffs. Right now it's looking pretty certain that it'll be either San Jose or Anaheim in the first round. Got scary when it went to a shootout. The Caps have so many talented shooters. But Quick, Carter and Gaborik came through. Man does Gaborik have a wicked wrist shot or what?

Onward and upward. Now it's Florida on Saturday. Sadly an afternoon game that I'll miss due to attending my great-grandson's very first t-ball game. I'll have to record the game and stay off the internet until I watch it. More exciting that way.

I'm assuming that is a statement made in jest. I'm sure hoping so. If not maybe I'm not as big a Kings fan as I thought I was. Most likely I won't have any more great grandchildren close enough by to be able to attend some "first" event. However a Stanley Cup Finals game might be a different story.
