I don't know, watching that video made me realize that all of the accusations come from Stump, the dishonest biographer. I'm not saying he definitely wasn't, but I don't know that he should be labeled as such just because he was born in 1886 in Georgia.By today's standards, yes he was. Probably more the norm for the time period though.

No, it wasn't. That's the whole point of my video. That video was based on the biography of Al Stump- a guy who held a grudge against Cobb and whose stories have been largely disproven."Cobb" was fairly accurate. Good watch if you havent seen it.

How's things going over in the general forums these days, btw?
I'm not quite sure what you're getting at... if someone doesn't like someone because of the color of their skin, aren't they a racist? I could be misunderstanding your pointFirst off, there is bigotry and there is racism. We seem to conflate the two but while Cobb might not have liked people of color, he probably would have played ball alongside them had that been the way of the day. Racism is really a different set of rules from just disliking people.
Well, they could be a racist, but racism specifically is act or deed that demeans or harms people because of their race.I'm not quite sure what you're getting at... if someone doesn't like someone because of the color of their skin, aren't they a racist? I could be misunderstanding your point
Cobb had some completely fictional biography work done on him just prior to and immediately following his death.First off, there is bigotry and there is racism.
