Not too worried about this one. A tired and injured team got run down in the 4th quarter and couldn't hang on. Still, the propensity to collapse inthe 4th quarter against the better teams remains a problem. The Dubs can be better evaluated if they get back to full strength.

I'm not happy about it because we should have enough talent to win games when we're we're not at full strength, instead it seems we finding ways to lose every one of those games. We just dropped 2 very winnable games and it's more a lack of focus than injuries IMO. They keep committing too many dumb mistakes (unforced turnovers and unnecessary fouls) and go through long stretches of uninspired, predictable offense (the isos and postups) where there is no ball movement and things grind to a halt. That's got nothing to do with injuries, they can and should do better in those areas no matter who is in the game.

Last night's Portland game was a complete mental meltdown that is inexcusable. If you don't think that's a problem, let's see how you feel when the Warriors are facing 4 out of 7 games on the road in Memphis.

Its happened enough this year and last against every good team they play that it should not be a surprise to you. They now have the talent needed to compete but not the mental makeup yet to close teams out in the 4th. They panic in crunch time.

As crappy as the Dubs have been playing, they still hold the 7th spot in the playoff race. They just need to get it and see what happens. You never know.

You kind of implied it in your statement:

The Warriors don't know how to close out games (Iggy mentioned that on the TNT interview) and their bench is too thin.

Also, the Warriors have starters at the 4 and 5 positions, but have opposing strengths and weaknesses. Lee can score but he's weak defensively, whereas Bogut can defend, but he doesn't have the offensive capability to post on score on people. The Warriors just don't have that dominant post player (not many teams do anyways), but it shows here.
