kessel i get. but uhm how many people has we seen beat mercilessly at this point?

he's fought brian mcabe, dion phaneuf, tried to fight zach rinaldo, beaten avery fucking senseless (twice)

and when phaneuf got in his face again the next shift he skated end to end and blasted one home in OT.




this makes oh i don't know.... ZERO sense.
so much that i actually doubt its a player poll.

Well in all fairness, Kovy never exactly had a reputation of being a physical player, that's probably what people are going off of. Gomez should be right near the top. Nothing quite like watching him peel off the puck when it gets into a high traffic area.

It's also fair to say that Kovy this year is a different animal entirely.
