I'm sure that remark is sarcastic. No one thinks that losing Miller and getting Champ back fixes Denver's defensive woes. Losing Miller is obviously a blow, but I'll wait to see how the season turns out before declaring that Denver is now finished.

They were 6-0 without Miller, but didn't really have a tough schedule in that stretch. I think the loss of Wolfe has been equally as tough for Denver if not worse. Their run defense has looked really wobbly lately.

But who knows, sometimes teams that look wobbly going into the playoffs end up with a ring. 2006 Colts and 2009 Saints come to mind.

It's to be expected. Tendons, ligaments and bones can't keep up with the muscle that these guys are packing on these days.

Huge loss for the Broncos but Pats have lost Gronk and Bengals have lost Geno Atkins so as long as Peyton is healthy with all his weapons they should still be favorites to come out of the AFC

i've heard a lot of people now saying this kills the broncos chances. von miller was not playing that dominantly. he was not going to single-handedly determine their fate.
