I really mentioned Reed because he showed promise as a rookie last year so hopefully blossoms this year. Attachou was a nice productive signing last year but he has been around for a bit so we may not see a huge improvement with him but if Reed improves in year two and Attachou gives us what he did last year it won’t be Von but it will be good. Sucks for Chubb he will get all the attention now.

In a covid year we just have to take the most of it. Not expecting huge things. I just wanna see the offense come together and the D have some young players step up. Hopefully see Von back in 2021.

Absolutely! That's Von's motivation for coming back - if he can - late in the season and perform well. He is the kind of guy who can do that.

I said this about him back in July:

I think we have to get used to the fact that the Von Miller who was our Superbowl MVP several years back doesn't exist any more and that our Defense isn't going to be built around expecting him to be because Fangio is smart enough to know that it isn't going to happen. I do believe that Miller will continue to be a force on the field. That he will be an impact player. And that's a great thing to have. But we need to expect other guys on D to do their jobs at a high level and we need to trust the coaching staff to use them correctly.

I still believe that. Sucks to lose a guy with talent and skill, but he wasn't going to be what our D was built upon. We lost an impact player but we din't lose the Defense.
