I don't know about the rest of you guys but for instance this guy Vita Vea has been widely mocked to us. His is supposed to be the best or one of the best interior lineman in college. Penn State did not have a great line OLine this year. They got a kid back before the bowl game that helped but they ran all over Washington. Does it make you wonder if the Pac 12 isn't that good he might not be as good as advertised?

Vea has a combination you cant fake

Allen, Vea and Ion gives me goose bumps. Not to mention Vea and Ion on the inside when we go 4-3 might not be too bad..

I think Vea is the type of player that might not sow up on the stats sheet, but it will be because teams scheme against him and he will free up other players.

Plus he would mean we didnt draft a QB in the first round

Yeah I know not to put too much into bowl games and that dude is a load. He made a couple of plays but interior lineman aren't stat guys for the most part. They are supposed to be space eaters. I had the same thought today myself Ironman, Vea and Allen. Gave me a shiver too.

MAkes too much sense, which is why I think we draft a QB or a short fast WR that only knows one route in the first round.

Did you see the play he made on kick coverage? That is pure talent. For a guy to be that big and that fast ain’t normal. He should definitely be on our radar with our first pick.

So you just watched the Washington game? Can you name a defensive player for Washington other than Vea?

My guess is Vea was schemed against and he isn’t the stat stuffer type anyways. He is the Vince Wilfork of this class.
