I don't know that missing on Williams has hurt us as badly as it could have. We should be ok with what we've got the next few years, some of which we may have because we missed on Williams. Also note: it doesn't sound like he's in line to start at UNC next year when Renner leaves.

I am not saying I am mad about missing these guys. I am just saying those are the only guys that stick out that would have been difference makers here. All the others have floundered. I am interested in seeing how Deloach does. We got Maddy and Nicolas. I can't complain.

I was more pointing out that it seems we dodge billets with these late "losses."

I agree about Anthony and Hughes. I think we have some good LBs, but those two would have to be in the mix if they'd come to VT.

+3. Disappointing missing on both of those guys, but as 46 said..we picked up Maddy very late in the process as a result of SA dissing us. Neither TH or SA has killed it at their respective schools.

Melvin Keihn had a "great" visit to VT a few weeks ago. He described the game as "wild" and VT's atmosphere as "too live." He visited UVA this past weekend and described his visit as a "good, fun weekend." Based on those statements I like our chances even more.

Adding to that...Jamie Oaks wrote an article a few days ago basically stating that they didn't need Keihn at all and was undermining his talent with the whole he's a "tweener" schtick. In other words, he was preparing the hoo hoos for some negative news on the Keihn to the french front.

I've said it all along, London's year to prove himself is 2014. Things must not be too bad in recruits eyes, we just received a commitment from a 3 star DB with offers from GT, Tennessee, Kansas State and Vandy.

Nice hokie spin, but that is not what it said. Oakes said, in his opinion, Keihn was too small to play DE, but that UVa would definitely love to have him.

Only one of those offers was commitable for Lattimore, per my source, FWIW.

Still, I think UVA holds on to most if the class outside of Richardson and MAYBE Farrar, as long as they keep London.
