Looks like Hatfield didn't do his homework/verify info before tweeting about Deon Newsome.

That's one of the things I like about Brian Mohr...he never states anyone has committed until he personally verifies the information with 1) the recruit. 2) the recruit's family, or as a last resort, 3) the recruit's coach.

We have Colbert getting a Tech offer, but we're pretty much ahead of the curve on most of the offers that have gone out. Brian got burned a few times in the past trusting sources and going public, so he's pretty cautious now.

Brian and I have had our differences, perhaps more than a few, but that doesn't mean I don't respect his work ethic.
