All indications point to VT offering Khris Wilson (OT from Varina HS) and if offered it sounds very positive that he will be a Hokie...

He is a rising HS Junior! Hard to imagine a tackle being so impressive as a sophomore that he would get an offer before his junior season. What are his measurables?

I would imagine so, I am not sure of his primary recruiter but it probably is Shane. It sounds like if VT offers that is where he wants to be...

Oklahoma

Tennessee
Wherever Butch Davis ends up

Not even kidding. Bama and VT were in the mix but have "substantially" lost ground....wonder why...

Not really. The coaches are Pro-UVA and one is even a former player.

Three players have been successfully recruited by Tech from Varina from 1999 to 2007.

DB Davon Morgan was the last player Tech successfully recruited from Varina as part of the 2007 Class.

Previous to 2007, DT Jonathan Lewis was part of the 2002 Class while his older brother DT/DE Kevin was part of the 1999 Class.

DT DeAntre Rhodes was the last player we attempted to recruit from Varina as part of the 2009 Class. After a year of attending Hargrave prep school he ended up signing with Louisville as part of their 2010 Class.

GD... who is the safety in this video who picks off the pass at 4:30? (play starts at 4:22). That kid takes like five strides and he's covered 30 yards.

Boykin was a guest on Tech Talk Live last night and they were asking him about breaking the VT receptions record, and his thoughts about if someone would break it. He said something to the effect of watch out for his brother. Bill Roth thought he was joking. When he realized he wasn't, he asked Boykin if his brother was seriously a prospect. He said, yeah, he just moved back to N.C., is a junior wide receiver at Butler. Roth then asked Boykin how his brother compared to him, and Boykin said, he is a good receiver, AND HE IS TALLER THAN ME.

So, just curious if anyone knows anything about the kid. And BTW, Roth at first was afraid it might be a violation that they talked about a recruit, but he later verified it was okay since the kid is Boykin's brother.

Okay, so maybe I misunderstood. I just checked Butler's roster and there is a Boykin listed as a 6-2, 240-pound lineman.
