It is up there.

2003 was pretty phenomenal as well:

Hall
Adibi
Ellis
Griffin
Booker
Brown
Kinzer
Powell
Br. Warren
Clowney
Hyman
Marshman
Minor
Parker

All of those guys started at some point for the team and a bunch were multi-year starters and stars.

but its hard to compare looking back at what they actually accomplished vs guys who still havent enrolled. This class could be the best by far or sadly it could be full of duds. in 4 years we will be able to tell you if it is actually the best class or just the one with the most potential/hype.

Guys like Fuller, Fisher, and Teller i feel like won't let us down just because they have been proving themselves but there are some that we really have no idea how they will pan out...

If we're talking about successful classes, the 2008 one deserves a mention and an appreciative nod:

Ryan Williams
Eddie Whitley
Vinston Painter
Nick Becton
Bruce Taylor
DJ Coles
Michael Via
Antoine Hopkins
Jarrett Boykin
Jeron Gouveia-Winslow
Dyrell Roberts
Marcus Davis
Tony Gregory
Lyndell Gibson (not saying he was good, but he was a starting LB on a team that won the ACC)
Randall Dunn

Yep, only a couple of studs in this class, but no duds either.

Several "duds" when you look at the complete list. Andy Bitter has a nice 2008 write up at Roanoke.com

To me a dud is player who never contributed (not b/c of injury). We knew some of these players were not going to be stars, but all of the 2008 class contributed and had some big moments as Hokie. Gibson could fall into the dud category, but he did start.

The guys I listed were all guys who were either starters or guys that contributed something in a key reserve role. If every class had that kind of success rate there would be nothing to worry about. There's always going to be attrition and guys who wash out.

Rogers is a great walk-on. He's a real good player with good size and speed. No D1 QB but a football player with the size to play D1.

I watched him play this year against my old HS in the playoffs. He was a stud MLB for Hanover and will probably see his time there at VT.

I feel bad for Carlis Parker. Feel like with Bucky to compete with and then Park most likely coming in behind him, he might get buried.

At least he can play another position, what if he outshines bucky? I wouldnt start feeling sorry for him yet.

Agree. They say he is has Vick/TT like skills/potential. If he turns out to be as special as those guys, Bucky may not play a down...
