I think they will evaluate in the spring and summer (after NSD and when we get guys on campus) but if Harris makes it and lives up to his "hype" i dont think TE sticks at rb.

I think getting Edmunds at LB is a big deal. His speed will help a ton in coverage at Backer (see Bruce Taylor's struggles)

If they don't move Edmunds to LB then that means they are oblivious to the LB problem that's been at VT since Adibi/Hall. But I think Beamer also realizes that the formula to running the ball successfully at VT means having a stud RB to make up for deficiencies in the O-line. Beamer and Co. are building this team backwards. It all starts with the lines. Newsome might be the worst hire Beamer has ever made.

Edmunds wanted a shot at rb..sounds like that was sort of a stipulation of hs commitment...you make a promise..you keep it..and from all accounts, he will be the real deal..and they could both thrive in the right system...yeah, it would be nice to move him to lb but it is what it is..not fair to go back on your word

If we don't get Harris, definitely think we should have Edmunds at RB, I always had Harris pinned as the every down back type that could be a great NFL prospect, if J.C. doesn't develop into a ray rice type and bulk up.
