I don't blame Malik...he is probably top 15 pick.

VV...3rd round maybe?

Don't much care where/when the get drafted. Would just liked to have seen them in year 2 of this system.

I think KMaw started playing over him by the end of the year anyway, that dude has shown great improvement.

Atlas Stoltenberg and the Davis triplets should provide solid play on the DL next year.

He has his degree... Wanted to be done with classes but for his professional career this just isn't a great move. He could easily become a top 3 round draft pick if he really got after it his RS-Sr. year, that said, if he tests well in his pro day then he probably gets drafted. Mel Kiper gave him a 4-5 round grade. I think he likely goes in the 6th.

The amount of teams that run the defense he's suited for is slim, pun intended, you've really got to have your shit together to play a NT in the pro's
IDK if the twins are ready to play but we'll find out immediately, they've tested well with the scout squad however. As bad as we're at at DE we're even worse at DT with depth, not a single recruit at tackle yet this year is troubling, if not for the twins we'd have like 1 guy to play the position this year wtf

yea, i guess i could see that, but i'd think NFL scouts know how to evaluate a DT and eating up double teams is what they should do so the LB or others get the tackles. if i were to guess he's one of the players that was on the low end of the testing in the article, thus he's not going to show well at the combine or pro day, he might get a 5th or 6th round grade, but i'd bet he drops out of the draft and into FA territory after testing.
i guess i already said my thoughts.

on ESPN Big 10 Blog about Winners/Losers of Underclassmen declaring for NFL:

Nebraska DL Vincent Valentine: Not only is defensive tackle the deepest position in this year's draft, but Valentine struggled with an injury and started in only seven of Nebraska's 13 games this past season. He finished with just 10 tackles and didn't even earn honorable mention on the All-Big Ten team. He obviously would've benefited from another season, and might even go undrafted. At least he earned his degree, though.

oh and just a list, i found this interesting their thoughts on our underclassmen:
Nebraska (2): Underclassmen leaving -- DT Maliek Collins, DT Vincent Valentine. Key underclassmen returning -- None.
are there any underclassmen you think could get drafted? the only two that stick out to me are Gerry and Westerkamp, which both could go in "Key underclassmen returning".

I thought underclassmen was anyone with eligibility left that skipped those years to go to the NFL. is that wrong?
