Random thought...

So I realized last night when the Vikings traded back into the first round that over the last 3 drafts, the Minnesota Vikings have had SEVEN FIRST ROUND PICKS..

2012: #4 Matt Kalil
2012: #29 Harrison Smith
2013: #23 Shariff Floyd
2013: #25 Xavier Rhodes
2013: #29 Cordarrelle Patterson
2014: #9 Anthony Barr
2014: #32 Teddy Bridgewater

crazy..

That's pretty nuts. I hope Teddy pans out for them. They are a good fan base and deserve some success.

I'm a big Teddy fan, I like his demeanor, the way he carries himself, seems humble and hungry.

I like his composure. The Vikings beat the Texans to the punch last night. I think they were hoping Bridgewater would fall to them at pick #33.

^ I wouldn't put to much weight on workouts, but more on actual games and there highlights. Teddy is the best QB stat wise in this draft, can't see a lot of argument here.

I dont put much weight on anything. I dont follow College ball and before yesterday, I wouldnt know Manziel from Bridgewater and I wouldnt even try to assess college talent, lol

Kalil struggled but got better especially at the end of season. Patterson did okay for his rookie season. He contributed a lot on kickoff returns. I think he will be a very good receiver in a couple of years.

This might be the worst franchise in the NFL minus Jacksonville and Cleveland. Minnesota has a talent for picking shitting players with the exception of ap. Johnny football easily brings some confidence to that team and maybe they even win some games. Gonna regret not taking him.

They're good a picking up Green Bay's washed up players tho.

My friend sent me a link that the Browns spent over 100 thousand dollars to evaluate the QB's with all of these crazy analytics or whatever from the last 20 years. Bridgewater came out as the hands down top QB in the draft. Yet they had the chance to take him and went for Manziel. Maybe it was smoke, but kind of a waste of money if you don't take the guy who is the best one going off of the criteria you paid money to evaluate them with. Maybe they just got caught up in the hype.

Maybe so, but you can't blame them for trying because of their futile efforts to get a QB. I think I've read where they have had 19 different starting QBs since 1999.

They certainly have the talent, now they just need the coach and WB to take them somewhere. I think they have just that in Zimmer/Turner and Teddy.
