Mixon is a five-star who is expected to be a super-star, whereas Johnson is a three-star who was not expected to challenge for a starting roll. Are you sure it was only a matter of whether or not there was video?

Yeah I can't put my fingers on how that video didn't see the light of day.

With Mixon supposedly he started it by making homophobic comments about the girls friend. She responded with racial comments and got dropped. The girl may have been a slutty Jersey chaser and a known townie so its assumed they knew each other.

Reading it on paper there is some gray area there. If the video came out it is different.

But how do we know she used racial slurs towards him? Yeah, of course he said she did. Like I mentioned, that's the play. She very well may have just called him an asshole for all we know.

Does it really matter? short of brandishing deadly force (or nearly so) what could possibly excuse his behavior?

Mixon will be washing Perine's jock the next few years.

While I agree that (baring injury) Perine will be featured, I am equally certain that Mixon will see plenty of playing time (baring him getting into another altercation.) If that were not to be the case, they would have booted him last year.

Not to be racist, but why is it always a black person who can't keep himself from hitting women?

The only other post of yours I've seen on this site was today and it was about how all Americans are probably going to hell.

She hit him first.

I think most people would be shocked to find out the number of women who commit domestic violence.

Domestic-Violence-Stats.jpg

I once had a woman stab me multiple times for trying to leave her. Shit is no joke.
I got 5 staples when an ex hit me in the head in the dark while she was drunk and i was leaving her. Because i got sick of how violent and unruly she would get . Was pouring blood down my face she looked disappointed i was still standing. But I walked away I can't hot a girl regardless so I'm going to reserve the right to call him a pussy

No disrespect to the dudes in this thread, but I've found that usually the only guys who get hit by women are guys who let it happen. My current girlfriend will give me a smack to the gut from time to time if I'm being dumb (often), but I've dated many women in my life and not one of them has ever even threatened to hit me. It isn't that I'm some Billy Badass, but when you carry yourself confidently and respectfully and don't hang around those type of women, it just doesn't really come up. Honestly, it's normally the same with men and violence, too.
some woman are crazy but you never hit them

I wouldn't have hit her. But I do not get very upset when it happens to a women who does things like that to the man first. I think she brought a bit of it on herself, and I doubt it would have happened if she didn't hit him first.

No, like most of the time women do this, it went unreported.

There is like no way in hell I am ever going to call the cops for domestic violence. I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but my mom didn't do the worst job in the world. Men do not get sympathy in these situations.

I left, gave her $5000 to stay the fuck outta my life and move back home to her family.
I had no choice we had an apartment in queens neighbors callxedwhen they heard her screaming like a lunatic.Tried walking past the ambulance and pretty much got thrown inside. Said to let it go but she was so drunk she told them what she did and they arrested her. They have no choice its procedure when its labeled domestic violence . Obviously i didn't go back :L

Yep, that includes me!

Honestly though, I said this in more of a joking manner. That thread was all serious and I wanted to hear what actual religious people had to say about my views.

I know, as men, we are taught to not hit women, but im sorry, this look like self-defense by the letter of the law.

First of all, he did not invade her space, as they were both approaching the spot at the same time. She then raises her hand with a close fist and that's why he grabbed her. She then punches him first and that's when he defends himself and hit her back.

I don't agree with what he did, but she isn't innocent at all.

I don't have it in me to hit a girl. But she did lose her job and her license to practice psychology because of it. My mistake was trying to help her she started drinking heavy and was getting violent. At that point i had enough and was leaving and she flipped. Threw away all her work and schooling for booze

Amen! We are so quick to jump all over the man because we were raised not to hit women, but we need to start calling these things what they are and stop giving females passes.

No it didn't. You might be able to make a case that it was retaliation. But retaliation and self-defense are not the same thing.

It takes more strength to stand tall walk away then to throw a punch at a female. Beating on a female is weak

He retaliated to defend himself. How about that?
