i would think Anderson over Lundqvist or Niemi. even over Bobrovsky. I know he was awesome but I always have an issue with a candidate whose team doesnt make the playoffs.

Why you heff to make playoffs? Is only award for regular season.

I like the list. Glad that it didn't include Anderson, Crawford, Holtby, or Rask.

So Niemi was solid, but the team was great in front of him, and Lundqvist's team underperformed.

When you consider the teams in front of them, and the fact that Bob was THE biggest reason the BJs were close this year, it's a no brainer to me.

Honestly it is a toss up between Bobrovski and Lundqvist. I don't see Niemi winning it.
I am surprise Jimmy Howard didn't get any consideration over Niemi.

/Lundy actually won me over during the playoffs last year, he is a heck of a goalie.

I'm glad to see Niemi get recognition. He had a really good year, the entire month of February the Sharks played like crap and Niemi was stealing them loser points.

Niemi was the Sharks MVP this season and the only reason they were able to stay in a PO spot. The Sharks played terrible for a good month and a half or more after the first nine games of the season. The team just couldn't score and Niemi was the only reason they were picking up points.

IMO Bobs should win it but for what ever reason making the PO's seems to factor into the voting.

Not saying Lundqvist isn't a great goalie, but he could continue to have subpar years and make this list based on prior performance.

Pretty much this... and what Cmon wrote.

But nobody (including those who vote) watched Sharks games like we did, so he won't win it. The Sharks team was the biggest underachieving joke for weeks at a time and all Niemi kept doing was steal so many points for them.

Lundquist nominated is a silly... just on reputation/prior numbers, like it was said.

Bob will (should?) probably win it but Niemi does deserve serious consideration (which he won't get).
