What do you think is fair trade value for Julio Jones at this point. He may be expendable to me at this time. I know that's crazy to think but what kind of player should I or could I get for him. My main need is running back, I am pretty deep in WR.

You could probably get a Reggie Bush, Matt Forte or Demarco Murray type RB straight up for Julio.

Depends on your league settings. In standard 12-team leagues I'd say you should be able to get Ridley, MJD, Lacy or Gore. And probably David Wilson pretty easily, if you want him.

Yes, and DeMarco Murray. I think Forte would be optimistic, and after Week 1 so would Reggie, but you could always try.

I dont know if i care about straight up... if i was weak in RB, i might add a sweetener to the pot just to force him to make the deal... But make sure the sweetener is replaceable...

I'd like to see your roster before I comment TBH.

Given the names mentioned already:

In a PPR league, I would make the trade for Forte and Bush.

In a standard league, it would only be Forte.

I would be looking at TRich and Spiller. Maybe MJD for less. If none of that works...maybe try and steal away Lamar Miller for little. All those backs obviously had disappointing week 1's. You never know...

I'd like to see your roster before I comment TBH.

Roster is as follows

Starters:

QB - Russell Wilson
RB - Montee Ball
RB - Fred Jackson
WR - Demaryius Thomas
WR - Reggie Wayne
WR - Julio Jones
TE - Brent Celek
LB - Bobby Wagner
LB - Briaun Cushing
DL - JJ Watt
DL - Greg Hardy
DB - Eric Weddle
DB - Harrison Smith
K - Justin Tucker

Bench:

WR - Julian Edelman
WR - Brian Hartline
WR - Eddie Royal
RB- Pierre Thomas
TE - Coby Fleener
QB - Big Ben
RB - Brandon Jacobs (don't expect anything just a desperation pickup)
IR - Andre Brown

It's a 14 person league. Not sure what kind it is just a points type league where everything is pretty much rewarded with points at 6 pts a TD. I figure with how poor my RB core is I can replace Jones with a tandem of Edelman and Hartline. Edelman is looking even better now that amendola, vareen and gronk are out for the foreseeable future. I feel like he may become the new Welker of NE. I know people will laugh at me, but to get a good/great RB it'll be worth it to trade off Jones only if the right deal is there.

Wow was not expecting your RB to be that bad.

If i were you i would definitely add the sweetener to get a RB...

You might not even need to trade Julio jones... maybe go to the owner of spiller and trade Hartline/edelman and fres jackson for his number 2 Back... I think if i were you i would rather go for a buy low candidate and keep your WRs as is...

Ya my RB situation is dismal but my WR situation is excellent. I may try the spiller idea, but I'm thinking the person who has will be very stingy knowing the place that I am in. Had Andre Brown now been injured and placed half way decent I wouldn't be in the situation I am in. Luckily for me in week 1 my WR were able to make up the difference for the poor RB performances.

Well remember that football is becoming more and more of a passing game over rushing game. Look at last week only 2 players ran for over 100 yards and one of them was a qb.

I know its more of a passing league but a combined 4.8 pts from my RB's is and will catch up with me sooner or later. I was able to get Jackson for nothing from a friend helping me out. I may just try and weather the storm this week and hope that if Ball can get to atleast 8 pts avg and Jackson 8-10 my receivers should over come my lack of a great running back. I was just looking for advice on what people thought I could flip Jones for. However, it sounds like I should just hold onto him and enjoy the depth I have at WR a well.

I know that Treff speaks the truth since he turned down Ridley for Julio in our league.

In a non PPR and with RBs being scarce, it would probably take a good sweetener to get a top RB (Forte, Bush, TRich type) for Julio, even though I do like Julio a lot. Straight up I think the RBs to consider would include MJD, Demarco, Ridley. Probably would not do Lacy, Gore, Wilson without a sweetener coming back.

with your RBs I would do something though.

good luck

Try trading Edelman or Hartline for Gio Bernard, or even for Le'Veon Bell, who should help you a lot starting Week 5.

I've got Julio & there's no way I'm letting him go - and like you, my RB situation is very poor, unless Marshawn Lynch decides to turn it on.

With Julio, I have Victor Cruz & Mike Williams (TB) for backup & bye weeks.

I know Julio can fetch a decent trade but don't be too anxious to let him go before considering other trade options.

Ummm...if you have Marshawn Lynch, you're RB situation is certainly not "very poor".

No one can ever accuse me of not practicing what I preach!

After seeing that roster, I'm not convinced that your WR situation is "excellent"...Probably above average, but, with the plethora of WR'S around the league that can be plugged in on any given week, Edelman and Hartline on not going to be markedly better than what anyone else in your league will be able to throw out there, so yes, try dealing Julio, but reach for the stars, make sure you get Forte or better.
