I'm sure OSU will use some witchcraft to beat Michigan again this year but on paper I really do see us as the better team. OSU just lost what - 9 draft picks? And a head coach that will probably land top 5 on anyone's all time greatest HC list? They have to take a step back after that - right?

I think if I were making a list I'd drop them in at like 11/12.

I'm convinced it's some form of witchcraft at this point. For most of the last two decades they've had so many opportunities to lose games and in every instance pull out some miracle to win. Everything has gone their way in order for it to exist.

Except they played all season last year without one of them(Bosa) got two picked from their awful o-line, and had their back up RB drafted. And one of their WR had one reception against Michigan last season. Biggest loss is obviously Haskins. But I would bet Fields ends up better than Patterson.

that explains some of it, not all of it. Plenty of teams have taken OSU out in that span with much less talent and good, but not as good, coaching. Michigan should have been able to at least do it once or twice. But controversial 4th down calls, last minute TD drives, failed 2 point conversions, late hit calls and a few other things have prevented it from happening; ALL going OSU's way. like I said, witchcraft.

Based on? Patterson finished as one of the top 25 QB's last season in QBR and many of the players ahead of him on the list graduated or left for the NFL.

Well you can only hope. Like I have said over and over...scUM fans have become accustomed to hoping now. It's all they have.

Did they just witchcraft last year? That was a beating. tOhio St doesn't need witchcraft, they need ole Jimmy to stay at scUM for a very long time.

I agree. This team needs to prove they belong in the top 20 before they should be in it. Lots of questions on the Defensive side of the ball that needs to be answered.
