Stanford (who beat USC) needed overtime to beat an unranked team at home...push. USC will lose at least two more games anywho so it's no big whoop.

Their opponents combined record is 13-11. Respectable.

Two of those opponents were ranked in the top 25 at one point but neither is ranked at the moment.

Their marquee win was over a THEN ranked #13 Wisonsin IN Corvalis by 3 points.

They're undefeated and deserving of a top 15 ranking...but not much more than that. Sorry, I know you need the SOS help.

Can't really argue much with your statement, but looking at some of those other top 10 ranking teams they haven't been tested much more than Oregon state or not close to Oregon State.

USC is a perfect example, they have 1 loss, they lost to a Stanford team who's lost came to now an unranked UW team. USC has not beaten one ranked team this year and really hasn't looked impressive. Oregon State has beaten 2 ranked teams (ranked at the time of defeat) Just think Oregon State is more proven then most of those top 10 teams.
