Courtney Smith is not getting anything out of this.

Other coaches that want to use negative recruiting could use this against Urban stating he is not a family man, doesn’t respect women, has memory problems as well as heart problems who knows how long he has left coaching.

I've read mostly positive things about TCU - are they really not going to be that good?

TCU is still a ranked team and you know that game will be hyped up to no end because of it being Day's last game. If they come out and win convincingly, I wouldn't be shocked to see that narrative being built.

Ironically, OSU could be the winner here. If OSU loses that game and then wins the BIG - would the committee use the situation as an excuse? Not that I agree, but it seems a likely talking point.

I agree, but I think that people might feel a bit better if Urban doesn't eventually come back...

except people might feel differently if they go to PSU the 4th week and lose.

Oh they won’t be bad by any means IMO. It will be an upgrade at QB when he figures everything out. But they did lose a lot.

Having read the report, I understand why there was a board member who wanted him to be fired. Having said that, I am glad they did not.

Although attorneys for OSU pretty much suck, I think Urban would have had a difficult time winning a lawsuit claiming he didn't violate the morals section of his contract (bringing negative attention to the university and all that rot).

OTOH, these same lawyers lost a similar suit with the basketball coach who handed a recruit an envelope with over $5,000 in it. If that isn't "cause", I have no idea what is.
