Memphis could have probably won the Pac12 Championship last year and would have been the #2 team in the Big12 and ACC. Heck, they would probably have been in the top 3 team in the B1G and top 4-5 team in the SEC as well.
I am fairly confident that they could probably beat my Vols right now.

Interesting story, Tennessee is 22-1 vs. in-state rival Memphis in football.
The year that Memphis actually beat Tennessee was in 1996 when Tennessee finished in the top 5 and had Peyton Manning as QB. Memphis beat one of Tennessee's best teams EVER in a Huge upset but hasn't been able to beat Tennessee when they have had bad teams.
