This is becoming quite a trend for the Hokies. 45 yards of unnecessary penalties in that scoring drive for Duke....

this game is Duke's biggest hurdle, yet they got them at home

as you can see Virginia Tech is intimidated by this intimidating Duke crowd.

There are 1200 people there. 900 are Hokie friends and family. The gameplay, field, and crowd reminds me of HS.

Also, I am not worried. One team is clearly better but it is just sloppy. I bet the Hokies roll abut after halftime and walk away with a 15-18 point win. The spread was only 13 i think but someone else can check that.

Virginia Tech just seems to have these games where their offense just sucks completely mainly where they go on drives then turn it over.

The offense is not playing bad. They pit up 301 yards in the first half, and about 65 so far this half. They have two turnovers in the red zone though and a missed chip shot field goal (starting kicked injured).

It is just a surreal game.

Also, if you look at Duke's resume, they are a good bit better this year and Cutcliffe has made them much better than a walkover. Still the Hokies should be up about 28-7 right now.
