Illinois playing themselves into consideration here the last few weeks. If they can pick up 2 of the next 3 I think theybe got a shot

I think they need a combination of 6 more wins. Whether that's 3 in the reg season and 3 in the conf tournament. Or 4 and two. And combination of that I think they might make it.

Really? They're going to be high 50s in RPI. 3 Top 50 wins. Decent SoS. I know the resume isnt great but the bubble sucks this year. I think if they can beat MSU at home and get 1 of the other 2 that they may only need 2 wins in the B10 tourney. I mean compared to the other bubble teams that'd leave them with more top 50 wins than most ( if NW staus there). I don't know I just spent 3 hours listening to people tell me Indiana was on the bubble with a RPI of 90 so maybe I'm jaded lol

Yes, that would be the case. Illinois State would enter the at large pool, where they would fall in that pecking order, I'm not really sure. I haven't focused on them from an at large perspective because they've been the "auto" bid every bracket I've done so far. My guess is that Illinois State would fall in the First 4 OUT, or Next 4 OUT. I think they'd be on the outside looking in.

Illinois State falls under that good record but not really much in the terms of good wins category

They won 1/2 vs Wichita but that's about it

Best OOC win was New Mexico (and they had a loss to a sub 200 RPI team in non conference)
