Underdogs

Now that the season is about to kick off, I'm reading all the predictions, projections and perceptions on many of the major sports sites. I'm a little surprised how the Broncos are being perceived nationally. Most don't give them a chance to even sniff the playoffs.

I've seen predictions of a 6-10 season, last in the AFCW and was just reading that 4 out of 5 experts on ESPN are picking the Chargers will beat the Broncos in the "upset" of week one.

Now all of this may very well be true and our quarterback carousel, anemic offense and line woes are the clear reasons that the Broncos find themselves in this spot. It's hard to know what to think at this point. I see them winning at least 9 games again but how much of that is personal bias? I just don't know but I fully expect our team to take care of business at home this coming Monday night.

Looks like if this Broncos team is any good, they'll be flying under the radar for awhile. Not necessarily a bad thing. I'm just not used to reading so many unflattering things about the Broncos to start a season. It's been a while since that was the case. I'm not really enjoying the Raiders, Chiefs and even Chargers love-fest that's going on out there.

Anyway......Go Broncos! Shock the world......I guess.

If it's any consolation, Mooch picked them to make playoffs today. I wanna be " shocked " but 8-9 wins seems reasonable until proven otherwise.

I am loving the reports on all the AFC West teams. I love being the underdog. I love seeing predictions of a 6-10 season. If they're right the. We can't be mad at them for it. Usually they're not (I recall a lot of predictions the 2015 team would miss the playoffs) and it's always awesome when the team defies expectations.

Comes with the territory of not having a QB that defenses fear. Defense good enough to keep you in games, but that's not gonna be enough to be a contender.

Why I say no Clue is Charles .. I said it earlier He could be the reason we hoist SB52 into the air .

So yes we could be scary good but we need all the RB's to win the SB .

Rb stable can be good if in a the o line shows up. If not, kiss playoffs good bye. If CJ, Charles, Booker,TS ,etc stay healthy, it won't matter if the O line hasn't improved to at least " decent " this season. No brainer. Actually, if O line doesn't improve, most rbs won't stay healthy.

I guess I would prefer the dominating, scare the crap out of the opposition kind of team that's favored big in every game but for now, I'll take underdog. What the hell is an undercat? I suppose since you're the POTM, you can make up words now.
