Which is a normal playing window on NFL Sundays.

We knew since Friday that the weather was going to be bad early afternoon on Sunday. So you can move a game to 3:25 because of a good matchup, but not for player safety? Great logic there...

It's the NFL. You can't start rescheduling games over weather. It's a slippery slope, that I'm afraid we're already headed down. It started with the PHI/MIN game in 2010. The one that was moved to Tuesday because of snow. That stunk.

Just got back from the game. Man we played terrible, but I am so glad that we got the win! I am glad we had great weather for this game.

I wish they had made this a 315 start, 2 hours of sleep did not cut it....

People died in the Chicago area today man. Entire neighborhoods and towns are flattened just outside of the city. Tornados aren't a joke.

Generally, I'd 100% be with you, but football isn't worth risking lives for.

The delay was warranted. Just wish CBS would have shown another game instead of a weatherman for almost 2 hrs.
As for moving the time slot. How right are weathermen ? Maybe they're right 50 % of the time.

They may have predicted that there was a good likelihood of bad weather, but nobody absolutely knew. Weather fronts speed up/slow down/shift direction/die out altogether all the time.

The game (& t.v. broadcast) schedule was set months ago: They made a reasonable attempt to stick to it, & when the weather turned nasty they made the correct decision to think of the fans' safety first. This sort of thing is just going to happen from time to time with an outdoor sport.

Starting the game at 3:15 would have been a disater of epic proportions. We would have been in the middle of tailgating. Could you imagine the havoc?

The Chargers vs Raiders game was moved back 7 hours a day before the game because they fucked up the scheduling of the baseball playoffs.

The Eagles vs Vikings game was moved to a tuesday literally on sunday gameday because of a snowstorm.

If you don't think it was necessary to move it, fine. But don't tell me it can't be done due to scheduling and not enough time. That is BS and has been proven to be done.

Even if the weather turns out fine, 99% of fans that can go to the game at noon as of friday or saturday would still be able to go at 3:15 on sunday. There is no downside to moving the game to 3:15.

Yes, and the Bears/Ravens game was postponed two hours as the storm rolled in. Again, initial reports said that the storm wasn't going to hit Chicago. It was actually unexpected when it hit.
