Not in this instance. Watch the replay. He saw the ball and dived in front of it to block a guy. At that point he knew the ball hadn’t been touched so he put himself in the path of the ball for what? Dumb play. In most cases like that you are right and the guy getting hit with the ball usually has his back to the play or something. Not this time.

My point was I think most of the coaches let that happen.. you think Urban and other coaches actually look at the coaches poll each week and rank the teams... they don't give a shit. They let someone else do it.

And even Spurrier admitted the coaches, if they are doing their job, are the WORST people to judge teams and players week to week because they are only watching film of their next game... they don't have time to watch other teams....
