OAkman got arrested for sexual assault not too long ago. I think he is off the radar what with the whole thou shalt not touch a woman unless she gives written consent and you have two witnesses culture we currently have in the NFL.

And unless we cut alot of guys, we only have room to bring in five UDFA's at the moment. So I dont expect a whole lot on that front.

Me either...but we can cut a couple. I would really like to bring in Tyvis Powell if only one.

Redskins signed Alabama OL Dominick Jackson.

Jackson (6'5/313) spent two seasons at Alabama after transferring from JUCO, spending the first as a backup and the second as the Crimson Tide's starting right tackle, earning second-team All-SEC honors from the conference's coaches. On game tape, Jackson showed an anchor in the run game but struggled in pass protection due to slow feet. Not particularly athletic or long (33-inch arms), Jackson will have to move inside to guard in the pros. He'll be a low-ceiling project there.

I say take a flyer on safety Michael Caputo, he showed something during the East West Shrine game. Worth a look.

The Washington Redskins have signed seven undrafted rookie free agents as of Monday morning. The team added Utah safety Tevin Carter, Texas defensive end Shiro Davis, Clemson offensive tackle Joe Gore, Alabama offensive guard Dominik Jackson, Alabama defensive back Geno Matias-Smith, Richmond wide receiver Reggie Diggs and Cal wide reciever Maurice Harris.

Although the Redskins haven’t officially released their undrafted rookie free agent list, all seven players have officially signed their deals. Matias-Smith, Jackson and Davis all received $5,000 signing bonuses. Carter received a $4,000 bonus, Harris got $3,500, Gore earned $3,000 and Diggs $2,000.

Diggs, a Dendron, Va. native, is listed at 6-4 and 200 pounds. He had 66 catches for 901 yards and five touchdowns as a senior. Diggs recorded 1,157 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior. Carter, at 6 feet 1 and 218 pounds, had 56 tackles (5.5 for loss) with two interceptions and one defensive touchdown last year. He played just four games in 2014 because of a lower leg injury and received an extra year of eligibility from the NCAA. Listed at 6 feet 3 and 253 pounds, Davis was a backup at Texas and finished with 29 tackles (5.5 for loss) and two sacks in 10 games.

I wonder how many of those guys were projected to go in the draft and, if so, where?

I'm good with what the Redskins did, but wish the Skins would have used a 7th on Jake Coker if they were going to take a QB. He pushed Jameis in 2013 for the starting QB spot, and easily could have been the starter leading the NOLES to the Championship that season. And, you know how I feel about Jameis.

He's big, strong, and has a proven track record of leadership...and certainly can make all the throws of an NFL QB. Seems like he takes a little while to catch on to the system. IMO, he landed in a good spot in Arizona.

Would not surprise me one bit, it he ends up being the best QB out of this class. UDFA the best QB of a draft class? It's happened before, and it surely will happen again.

I actually like Vernon. Wouldn't mind bringing him in to compete for back for development role.
