It's been a bad year for the game of hockey, but at least these stories of abuse (racial, verbal, and sexual) are finally seeing the light of day and hopefully we can have a better game for it going forward. It's going to take some time to clean things up.

Extremely disappointing with all the Safe Sport training we (USA Hockey coaches) have to go through at every level of coaching and this guy is the one who had to approve the training. All the while it looked like he wasn't following what the training drilled into our heads.

I thought maybe I was being a little juvenile but that was the first thought I had too, I mean didn't get far but it felt like basically every second sentence in the coaching training dealt with this kind of stuff. And we still have a problem? Apparently the fox is on the town-oh and the hens just gotta deal.
