Up a set and a break in the 2nd and what does he does when he's up 5-4 serving for the match? Allows Rafa to break him and now it is tied at 5:L

Gotta love Ferrer. Had a 5-3 lead on Novak in both sets today and managed to give away both sets as only he can

Unfortunately, I have not been able to follow this one. Is it over and did Djokovic win?

It's typical for Ferrer to lose to Djokovic, period.

There is literally nothing that Ferrer does better than Djokovic from groundstrokes to movement to serve to net play.

Any score line resulting in a loss for Djok against Ferrer is, by definition, an anomaly.

It's why Ferrer's record vs. top 4 opponents is abysmal.

Ferrer is Michael Chang without the slam. I love the guys heart but he needs the other top guys to play poorly in order to beat them. If he plays great and they play great he loses. Period.

Ferrer had a crazy temper tantrum on the court in this Wawrinka match today. At the start of the 2nd set when Wawrinka was threatening to break him, Ferrer yells (at himself, I think) like crazy, repeatedly, and the ball girl is right in his face when he's yelling. Looked evil. And then after Wawrinka broke him, Ferrer slammed his racquet onto the court and bent it out of shape. Nowhere near as evil as Djokovic, but still evil.

Oh, come on. being emotional is equated to being evil?

I don't mind emotion (actually, tennis needs it), but you shouldn't yell in crazed anger when the ball people are so close to your face, and you definitely should never break a racquet. Both those actions crossed the line.

Well, folks, seems like Ferrer has solved the Nadal puzzle. I am sure he will have a one sided h2h now that he has gotten rid of the one thing preventing him from beating Nadal...his coach. Watch out Nadal in 2014, here comes David Ferrer!!:laugh3:
