Don't know much about him, but he's projected to be a first round draft pick in Friday's draft in LA. He played last year in Minnesota at Mankato State, but has decided to leave school and play next year for the Medicine Hat Tigers in the WHL.

He's the nephew of former NHLer Lance Pitlick.

He is one of the potential players that the Sabres are looking to draft. I think they just want to build a team of Tylers, but here is a scouting report I saw about him:

Scouting Report

The Good - Pitlick has many assets but the most impressive might be, his ability to be coached. He is always trying to be better and works hard to prove he belongs. He doesn't have the most talent on the ice but he works hard to make sure he is better than his opponent. Pitlick will never back down from a physical battle. He is also a good skater and has very good hands that allow him to carry the puck in tight spaces.

The Bad - Pitlick is very good in many aspects of the game but none of his skills would be considered elite. He has a very good chance of being a NHL player someday but he will likely max out as a third or fourth line two-way forward.
