In 13 games in Nov. the Sharks blew 2 goal leads 5 times, allowing the opponent to tie up the game. Also came close to doing it with a 4 goal lead against L.A.. They didn't lose all of those games, but it confirms the habit they have of not being able to put an opponent away.
They just seem to quit playing hard, or go into a "prevent defense" (doesn't work in football, either) when they get a lead, instead of having that "killer instinct". That is a recipe for disaster in the playoffs.
It is getting to the point where I hate to see them get a 2 goal lead. Rather have them up by one, so they will continue to play hard.
