Somehow network producers believe that having a rat's eye or squirrel's eye view of MLB action offers a profound improvement in TV coverage. Don't those bozos realize that all we see is an out of focus image that adds nothing to the action. Get rid of it!
What would be nice is an occasional view of the action from a behind the plate camera so that fans could see, for example, the wide open spaces available to a batter when the shift is in play, and some live action using that view. In fact, decades ago, this was the standard for TV coverage.
