I still have this gut feeling Turco is going to be a pleasant surprise for someone (hope it's not Chi or SJ).
Everything that could go wrong did go wrong for dallas last year, but I think he still has a couple of years in the tank.

I don't know about that, my opinion is that Turco is a reflexes-style goalie and as we all know, those reflexes deteriorate as we get older. Having said that, the reported price of 1.5 million is a bargain price.

I think 1.5 is a bargain too. It probably wouldn't be if he signed with the Wings though. Unless he plays better in the Joe while wearing red.

By all accounts Turco is one of the best goalies in the league as far as locker room presence goes, and one of the best puckhandlers around. He may be aging, but he's not that far removed from an amazing WCF performance. I'd hate to see him there, but I think Turco could do some damage if he got on a team like Chicago.

Can't argue with that, Turco handles the puck better than Sarich in the defensive zone :(

I'd rather have Niemi but I think Turco would be a more than adequate backup plaan

A sirloin might not be the greatest cut of meat out there, but it's going to look positively outstanding next to a moldy hot dog.
