I would rather go after Ben Tate instead of Reggie Bush.... Jairus Byrd will be FAed...but he would be a nice addition. Phillips is injury prone hell to the nah.... Trent Edwards??? IDK..he has failed so much give me a guy with some fire in him...Crocker comes back to work with the youngins but in a back up role.... Gilberry replaces Geathers and we give him a 2 yr deal....

Ben Tate isn't a FA until 2014 so that does us no good. Bush is everything you want in a WC back. He can run, catch and is extremely elusive. Phillips is a really good player. He has had some injuries but he wouldn't be expensive and I think would be worth the risk. I only picked Trent Edwards because there are no good FA backups. Either him, Gradkowski, Jason Campbell or Charlie Batch.

I would try Campbell before Trent....all day long... Zampese and Gruden would make him serviceable and he could get it deep to Green and Jones...

We need an accurate QB for our system. It's not a throw deep all day system. He has to hit the short and mid game consistently and he has proven he can't do that. He isn't a good fit here. Gradkowski and Batch are better fits then him. Now he would have fit the old Brat system great.

I think your FA are right on. I'd add Newman as a guy that I wouldn't mind seeing back. seems like a good dude and I think he's played extremely well. Like Gilberry, doesnt get much credit but a good guy to have on the roster.

Now to the draft....

I'd be okay with Mosley. He's a safe pick. But I get a little of a Keith Rivers vibe...great college player. Maybe just a solid pro.

Jones I'm begining to think is overhyped. He's a good player and I'd be happy taking him there..but I don't think he's as good as an interior Oline prospect as many do. Here's the direction I'd go first few rounds anyway...

1. Alec Ogletree -LB Georgia
2a. Giovanni Bernard RB UNC (could also look at Eddie Lacy here if Bernard is gone)
2b. Brandon Jenkins DE FSU
3. Bacarri Rambo - S Georgia

If we get Bush, there is no reason for Bernard. They aren't getting rid of BGE. Also with the signing of Byrd that Rambo isn't a need either. They aren't getting rid of Nelson either.

I will agree though that I went a bit on the safer side with this draft. I'll probably look back and take look a lil harder at the higher risk higher reward players. These were guys that were safer at positions of need.

I disregarded your FA acquisitions. I was drafting off of bringing our bolded guys back. I mean, it is a good plan to add Regie Bush but it's highly unlikely. More likely, we bring back our key guys and some low profile FA's. And really, I don't have a problem with that.

As far as BJGE goes, not sold yet. He is solid, but the O-line is making him look really good. On some of those long runs, a guy like Bernard might take those to the house. I think you keep BJGE as a good lockeroom guy and short yardage back but I'd look to get more athletic at the position though the draft.

Ogeltree I like a lot. Athletic as hell. Like a way more talented version of Brandin Johnson. Also plays with instinct. Stick him in the middle or at WIL. Either way he's a playmaker with coverage skills and the athletic ability to get better.

Thinking realistically about what we will do in FA though this is more of the draft I'll want since I know we won't get Byrd or Bush.

1. Ezekial Ansah DE BYU
2a. David Amerson CB NC State
2b. Shayne Skov ILB Stanford
3. Jonathan Franklin RB UCLA
4. Tyrann Mathieu FS LSU
5. Seantrel Henderson OT Miami
6. Marcus Lattimore RB South Carolina
7. Andre Debose KR/PR Florida

This is a draft I would LOVE to see them go with. It has a lot more risks to it, but if these guys play up to the potential they have shown it would be a home run draft.
