It may even affect other sports.
On my Dierct tv I have tons of Fox Sports channels that are blacked out due to restrictions. It will kill center ice and nba and MLB pay channels. The nfl could still limit because they control all the rights by network.

I'm not sure if this will be a good thing or not for me personally. I already get just about every Kings game they play on FSW and I get enough of the rest of the league through NBCSN and NBC. As long as it doesn't cause my cable (actually Verizon FIOS) bill to go up I guess it'll be a good thing for the rest of the country's Kings fans. Interesting to read some of the comments from Canadian hockey fans and how they get screwed by getting put in the local area of Toronto or Montreal when they're in PEI, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
