Hmm that sounds odd, what's up with his Dad? Why would he say something like that if there was no truth to it at all. I'd guess myself that they're trying to cover up the fact that Zach probably did say something that points towards looking at his options and they don't want it to slip out. Otherwise it's pretty random.

Well referring to the beginning of the season, Zach was obviously in a major slump and wasn't playing well and he was definitely frustrated. Don't forget there quite a few games there in the beginning of the season where we were getting totally blown away. Zach probably talked to his Dad about being frustrated and his dad interpreted it a certain way.

Im never going to dispute that he likes it here and it would be his first choice
BUT IF he makes it to JULY 1ST and he gets an offer from say a pitt, or detroit, or new York that's comparable ours don't kid yourself, its going to a hard decision for him to make. And that's based on his own words as well

I think if the offers are comparable, he stays here, as long as we don't go straight to the bottom of the standings. Frankly, if it's a money situation, they should sign him and then trade ANYONE on this roster if we need to save the cash. Trading the person first won't help because then Zach might see it as weakening the team.

Lou doesn't talk to anyone during the season. Even when he did it with Marty, it was because Marty had no agent.

Parise got an agent because of all the stuff that happened during Kovy's contract negotiations. Not because he didn't want to deal with Lou. It was because of all the loopholes.

After reading this he's gone because we will be bankrupt and if Bettman gets control of the team you KNOW he'll do everything he can to destroy us. Although in retrospect, I wish he'd have done more to keep us from signing Kovy. After you read this, you'll realize that signing is going to literally KILL this franchise.
