Ok, not really, but somewhat. Answer my question and I have either a Robert Lang Parkhurst Emerald Ice Rookie card or a Ryan Smyth Kings bobblehead for the winner.

How many number one overall picks in the NHL entry draft have had a Gordie Howe Hat Trick in their rookie season?

I know the answer is at least one, and that may be the last we see of him this season...

Um, I threw the question out there, somebody help me out and find the answer. I unfortunately don't currenty have a research assisant I can delegate this to.

We now know Hall is on this list, and I'm pretty sure Daigle and Lawton are not on this list...

Well I've found that no one kept track of the GHHT until 1996... other than that, I'm having trouble getting any data on it.
