I thinking the Rams fans are gagging over these suggestion. I think they stay in house on their QB. Seriously couldn't be much worse then trading for some borderline QB who doesn't know the offense.

redskins forum has their own thread on this, god forbid you post there though, they just ignore you totally, then argue with eachother about their team

Don't take it personally... Lotta heat surrounding Griff and Capt Kirk amongst long time posters...for obvious reasons.

A few of the posters tend to focus on those battles amongst themselves when anything crops up concerning either name... Nothing to do with you...

Don't feel ya can't post there...you're always welcome:suds:

Be more than happy to trade Dan 'oh shit I am out of the endzone" Orlovsky for Hill in return.

I propose an inter-divisional trade.
While uncommon, they do happen. Seattle's last trade within the division was when they fleeced San Francisco sending Darrel Jackson south for a 4th rounder.
With that in mind, I suggest Tyrell Pryor for a 4th. It has a nice ring to it.

Okay...hear me out on this one. You guys remember how the Cowboys got Jon Kitna to postpone his current career to play for the Cowboys for one game? Well...what if the Rams did the same thing, only for a full season and with Bob Saget? Think about it! Right away you gain huge support from all the females in the St. Louis area. Ticket sales skyrocket. Plus, if Saget gets in any trouble in the pocket he can just distract the other team with his huge package and ribbed abs. The only issue would be giving him at least a week to cleanse his system to pass all the drug tests.

I would stick with Hill in lieu of Cousins, ...if he falters one kid I would trade for is Mettenberger....and I would go as high as a 2 for certain.

Again - it has nothing to do with you. There are a handful of folks over there who are mainly interested in simply making the same arguments with the same people over and over again. No doubt people are reading your responses. However - they are more concerned with making a pt & only discussing it with the same 3 or 4 people. You are better off having the debate on this forum.

God forbid if you post anything related to the name change on the Redskins forum. Avoid at all costs .

Not so sure about that. For starters the Titans are probably reluctant to make that trade since Locker could go down at any time. Beyond that - Mettenberger has injury concerns of his own & do you trust your team to a rookie drafted in the 6th round?

Some of this is similar to the Cousins situation & lots of folks are putting way too much emphasis on how these guys perform in the preseason against backups.

It has a nice ring to it for sure for Seattle fans. Have a hard time though seeing that as the value considering there is a good chance Seattle cuts him so giving up a 4th sounds a tad high. I could see them willing to give a 6th round pick for him though.

Fully agreed. Same with Sanchez. If the Rams would've wanted Sanchez, they should have gotten him over the offseason. Cousins is also worth a lot more to the Redskins than the Rams right now. He knows the Redskins system...better than RG3 even. Perfect backup/stop gap QB for them.

Rams need a desperate old veteran or they need to tank for a QB next season. What they really should've done was draft Bortles/Bridgewater last year but :gaah:

Yep - you have to careful picking up some of these "hidden gems" (e.g guys drafted late who many think are the next Brady or Wilson or backups who everyone is sure will be great if given the chance). You may get lucky but quite often you will fall short & might get into a pattern of going with these guys for a few years & then having to start all over again at the QB position. It is just very tough to find a very good QB.

I read they ignore you in the st louis thread, if Sanchez goes to the rams, you think Michael Sam will want to play offensive line?

They should check in on Mike Glennon. I heard that guy is immune to ebola.

Haha dang it got roped right into that. In all honesty this happening to the Rams at this point leaves them pretty screwed no matter what (really any team losing their #1 quarterback is pretty screwed). At this point bringing in a new guy is going to take a month to probably get them caught up on playbook and get down some of the timing with the WR's. Even then it will be very limited. That would also mean then taking snaps away from the guy who is going to start the first month to try and get the new guy up to speed.

At this point they probably are just better going with Shaun Hill or whoever the back up is. More than likely this injury means a losing season for the Rams. They still have quality players but being in the division they are and now without the Franchise Quarterback it just is pretty tough to compensate for those.

Pretty much. The Rams had some success last year with Clemens and that was a 'we can build on this' moment. Now they have to force a lot of turnovers and run the ball well again just to be average with a guy like Hill.
