He was the CB I wanted, and now I remember why. He made a ton of nice breakups, then clinched the game with a very nice pick 6. But we got Terence Newman, so it's all good.

we got a bargain, we're not trying to make the playoffs here, we're trying to make a profit for the Brown family. Now, stare at the dot on your screen and repeat after me "I will buy Bengals tickets"

If I live to 100, we'll NEVER sign a free agent of the quality of Porter....Brown would rather sign 2-3 mediocre free agents instead......

Bad as the Steelers' oline looked last night, don't be surprised if the Bengals look worse....

I thought Pitts looked good until they they got desperate at the end. I felt that either team could have stomped the Bengals into the earth.

The "analysts" who kept saying Denver won't make the playoffs this year are goofy.

Pitt put together some nice LONG drives last night. It seemed like they kept the ball for an hour on one of them. If the O-line can hold up, they've got a good, ball control offense with two playmakers on the outside and a steady safety valve in Miller. Don't know if it is just how good Peyton is, but the D did not look as dominant as they typically do.

Agreed both of the teams last night would beat the bengals.

And there are (hopefully were) plenty of bengals fans on this board talking about how AT Denver was going to be a win for us. Denver was very good last year, their D got even better, and they replaced Tim Tebow with Peyton Manning. How you can call that a win is beyond me. Sometimes I wonder if everyone here even watches other games.

I don't recall anyone here saying it was a win. I said I think we can win and I still do. Manning didn't complete one ball last night thrown more than 15 yards in the air. I think he will be good, just not as good as the past. Also let's see him play in some bad weather games. When do we play them?

Ok, you didn't say it was a win per se, but did say

Plus I'm just not impressed with Denvers team. I don't think Manning makes them anything more than an 8-8 team and that is if he can stay healthy. That O-line is bad.

and after making the AFC champ game last year and only getting better in the off season, I'm not sure how you can say they are an 8-8 team. Their D is very good.
oh well, wouldn't be the first or last time we don't see eye to eye.

I still think they are an 8-8, 9-7 team. Teams will start taking away the short throws and making him throw it deep. I'm not sure he can. And good. I hope it's snowing like a bitch. Cold weather has never been his friend.
