wow @ cody Kessler being 94th... I knew he wasn't playing well but didn't think that bad...

also Utah state chuckie Keaton being 6th....might spell loss #2 for usc... if they drop that game recruitings going to take a big hit...I think the defense has been solid though. I imagine they will keep him in check for most part...but qb play on other side is what concerns me

Not surprising at all!! He was horrible in the first 2 games. If he continues to play like he did vs. BC, he'll rise quickly in those rankings!!

Keaton could be an issue. Our defense has the speed and athleticism to keep him bottled up. The question is whether or not they have the discipline. That has been an issue vs. mobile qb's for the past few seasons. Hopefully Pendergast has addressed that!!

He has been unreal, but I am still hesitant to give him anything due to his age and being overly competitive. ANd yes he is 40-45 at 88.9% completion with 6TD and 1 INT.

The little bit that I have watched him, he looks to have it all under control, it will be interesting to see him under pressure of a close game, and how he handles it. He seems to be a stud in the making.

Just curious how Mariota's QB rating is so high when he barely topped 50% completion percentage in his first 2 games and only threw 3 tds total between them?

Virginia

Strong had 2 drops, Coyle had 3 drops, Smith dropped 3 passes, Ozier dropped a pass in the end zone, Grice dropped one. Kelly should of had much better numbers this means nothing. And it wasn't like oh tough drops they were on the money throws that should of been caught. The only people I want going out for passes next week are Strong,Foster,Coyle,Ozier,Grice.

....so your saying that barely completing 50% of your passes against Nichols state and Virginia should get you a high QBR?
