Maple syrup is in everything.

Cookies, shepherds pie, brisket, Salmon, eggs.
Waffles and pantycakes are kind of a no brainer.

Some people use carrots, peas, green beans...all kinds of stuff.
I like beef, corn, potatoes and gravy or cream of mushroom soup.
Mmm Mmm.

Sometimes we use Campells veggie soup, sometimes a bag of mixed veggies...always ground beef and always fresh potatoes (no fake instant stuff). My buddy's German father introduced my family (Russians) to this recipe when I was in the 3rd grade, and it has been a staple dinner in my family since. Really, the perfect meal. And I agree, you gotta add gravy to the top of the potatoes. I'm going to try your cream of mushroom soup idea next time we make it. Thanks for the tip.

Peanut butter.

I used to combine peanut butter and Chobani Yogurt and put it between two waffles then eat it like a sandwich. I should probably get into that again.

Always fresh potatoes.
Gold, preferably.
