Good list. I disagree about Eifert being behind Gio only because I'm starting to really believe that they plan to use Eifert as much as humanly possible. I can see a scenario where Gresham is pouting and privately requesting his release by week 10.

As for Hunt... You nailed it - His best asset right now is to block kicks. I'm wondering though how he'll be able to make it to the 48 (is it 48?) guys that are active on Sunday. Can you really keep a guy active for that reason? Or does he have to model the proshop gear?

I think they have to keep him because he was a 2nd rounder and is a pass rusher. As far as Eifert and Bernard, it's certainly possible Eifert just goes crazy. However I don't think Eifert starts over Gresham and I've yet to see if the Bengals coaches can utilize a 2 TE formation.

Don't get me wrong -- Hunt is on the 53. He's a 2nd rounder and he's promising. But you can only dress 46 of your 53 active roster players on Sunday. I just don't see how he'll be in the mix when you consider that we'll definitely be dressing MJ, Dunlap, Geathers, Gilberry, and Harrison.... All guys that can play end.

I don't think Harrison will matter when it comes to keeping Hunt. He will be added into the LBers. It comes down to if we want to go light somewhere else to keep him. I'd say the last 2 DL on the team are Still and Hunt. They keep Still because he has a year in the system.

You'd figure we have to dress four tackles (Atkins, Peko, Still and Thompson) and we'll at least dress four ends. Hunt would be the fifth end. If we dress 9 lineman for Sunday, we have to go short at another position. I suppose it would be helpful if we didn't have to use one of the 46 slots to have Tate catch punts inside the 5.

BTW.... Keep in mind that Marvin and the coaches held Dunlap back -- He was inactive for four or five games his rookie year. And they also held Still back as he was inactive for half the games last year. Both those guys had more experience than Hunt.

Hunt won't dress. No room for him yet.
