I love my country and my anthem. I love Mark Donnelly but Kate and Lyndon blow everyone out of the water when it comes to it.

Generally the broadcasts on my Center Ice don't show the anthems either.

At least...not in the games I'm watching.

The guy who did it for the Pens game last night was exceptional. You gotta let the crowd sing some. Easily the most moving anthem I've ever heard for a Pens game.

I thought his voice was pretty average, though. The crowd should be singing anyway, without a prompt from the guy leading it.

I always sing. His voice was nothing amazing, but it's how you carry yourself that really makes a great anthem. He really got the crowd into it. It was awesome. I hope it starts a new tradition.
