It didn't say that. It says Arkansas. That is me going too fast typing it up and not really thinking.

They must be including his $2million retention bonus that actually vested in January and should fall under the 2014 season.

Yeah, the Dantonio figure is including the $2 million longevity bonus for attaining 8 years of service as head coach in 2014. His original contract had the longevity bonus set to be paid after 10 years of service, but when his deal was re-worked in October 2011, the bonus payoff time was reduced to 8 years.
New contract for Michigan State Spartans coach Mark Dantonio makes him 'Spartan for life'

His contract was re-worked again in January 2014 (after defeating Stanford in the Rose Bowl) which put him at $3.64 million per year.

Note: Dantonio gets to keep more of his salary than most other big-name coaches because he doesn't have an agent!

Let's see . . Divide his total paycheck by the number of wins he gets this year . .

Holy crap! he is being paid infinity dollars per win!

(someone can explain that math to Vernon Adams later . . . )

Those of you with iPhones, if you haven't asked Siri "what's 0 divided by 0" it is a must.

North Alabama, Bobby Wallace: $103,000 (in 2012) ... he may have received a raise since then.
