Ryan Jones special contributor to the DMN has his top 10 list out detailing how they performed in the last week. Must be a serial kind of thing but I haven't seen it until now. Not going to pay for news I already get for free.
Anyway his top 10: Rangers Top 10 prospects report: No. 1 Martin Perez cuts down on hits allowed | Texas Rangers News - Sports News for Dallas, Texas - SportsDayDFW
1. Martin Perez - LHP - Round Rock
2. Jurickson Profar - SS - Hickory
3. Leonys Martin - CF - Round Rock
4. Neil Ramirez - RHP - Frisco
5. Tanner Scheppers - RHP - Round Rock
6. Mike Olt - 3B - Myrtle Beach
7. Jorge Alfaro - C - Spokane
8. Luke Jackson - RHP - Hickory
9. Barret Loux - RHP - Myrtle Beach
10. David Perez - RHP - Spokane
I am skipping what he posted other than this because I've never been big on numerical performance of prospects until it becomes obvious they aren't progressing. These guys are basically dong on the job training and many are raw, high upside guys. I am hoping we can compare his list to our own. I am going to retrieve mine from the "other" board which shall remain nameless.
