only thing about this.... it wasnt really a baseball movie... the story is more of a very interesting spy movie... where he was coincidentally a baseball player...

i do remember seeing the movie... but i dont remember if there was more than 10 minutes of baseball, or any other mention of baseball in the movie...
That’s definitely fair. I was just submitting it as a “movie about a baseball player” even though baseball was not the primary focus. His baseball career is CERTAINLY not worthy of a movie.

hes definitely a unicorn in that he is worthy of a movie, but what people know him for is not why he was worth it...

cant think of another person in history like that.... i am sure there are many...

now that i think about the movie more... i do remember the entire Japanese baseball scene... that was actually pretty fascinating... wish i remembered what it was more than just calling it the japanese baseball scene... but i do remember seeing that and be like WOW>>> THATS cool...

This is the absolute most anti-climatic runoff poll ever. No discussion at all on-topic, and the vote is an absolute runaway.

to be official, though, the poll will close tomorrow AM…

I was really hoping that Jeff Kent would be in this poll . . . or Rich Aurilia.

I'm abstaining from voting any more until Brady Anderson is added to the list.
