It should be close. Only 10 people that voted had anyone different than these 2. I based ARod on his first 9 seasons before the players association agreed that you could be suspended for failed drug tests. With that in mind, to me Ott was ahead of them due to he played at a high level for more seasons. But comparing these two head to head:

Koufax had an incredible final few years to his career, then mic dropped on a high note but I don't think his last 4-5 seasons overtake ARod, who in his first 8 full seasons was the greatest power hitting shortstop the world has ever seen.(while being a plus on defense, winning a couple gold gloves) His 9th full season he was a third baseman with a 7.6 WAR.

AROD was off my list because i didnt want to waste my time voting for him when he has no chance to win around here...

I will vote for AROD in these finals everytime though, he either needed my vote to win or my vote was unneccessary..

This round may be where I think that its close to being wrapped up as a project. Too many guys, in my opinion, are being voted for just based on name recognition while others who were better are getting bypassed. I think that we are failing to vote for best players left and are just voting for names casual fans know and going off media popularity.

It's up to @calsnowskier of course but I feel like a round number like 30 would be a good place to tie it off. So almost there.

Idk. I have disagreed on some too. But saying that there is only one way to judge players is kind of missing the point of this. And if there was an actual well accepted rankings then why would every ranking be different. Every single one.

And sure some players feel too high. But odd thing is that every single rankings you find has similar players.

I have been stumping Koufax just to show that he does belong in question with the kershaw,Seaver, Gibson, Alexander and others.
