Yep, regretting I started it.
Don't be. It was a great Cowboy topic. We will all be rooting for him to play well and interested to see how he does.

Jerry was kinda confused in the draft.
He thought he was signing baseball players.

Chad Hutchinson......St. Louis Cardinals
Quincy Carter......Chicago Cubs
Drew Henson......Yankees

and collectively, those three QBs(?), couldn't carry Romo's jock........

Hutchinson's claim to fame was, handing off to EMMITT, when he broke Walter Payton's record.
Henson, completed a total of 11 passes, in his illustrious NFL career.
and Carter.....yikes

A salute to all our former 2nd string QBs.........some became starters

Tony Romo.......Sean Payton's and Todd Haley's best info
Mark BF Sanchez
Cooper Rush
Matt Cassel
Stephen McGee
Steve Pelleur
Gary Hogeboom
Anthony Wright
Ryan Leaf
Brandon Weeden
Bernie Kosar
Clint Stoerner
Babe Laufenberg
Reggie Collier
Glen Carano
Clint Longley
Jerry Rhome
Kevin Sweeny
Rodney Pete
Kyle Orton
John Kitna
Don Heinrich
John Roach
Steve Walsh
Jason Garrett..... claim to fame.....clipboard holder for Aikman and Jerry Jones
Wade Wilson
Randall Cunningham
Ryan Leaf
Kellen Moore
Steve Beuerlein
Craig Morton
Don Meredith
Danny White
Brad Johnson
Drew Bledsoe
Eddie LeBaron
and that Roger Staubach guy........I wonder what ever happened to that guy?

As far as I know.........I could have missed a couple

it's an interesting list.

But, the COWBOYS have been blessed with great starting QBs, with fairly long careers.

as starters:

Don Meredith for seven years
Roger Staubach for around eight years
Danny White for six years
Troy Aikman for twelve seasons
Tony Romo for around nine seasons

the same could be said about our running backs

Perkins........7
Hill......4
Dorsett ...10
EMMITT......13
Murray..4

A 10??? That leaves a mark.
Thank God he wasn't playing at Augusta when it's set up for the Masters, he might have shot over a 100

I usually have at least two eight holes keeping me from breaking 100.

As each hole is finished I start swearing off the game then I hit this beautiful drive and instantly say YES I know I can beat this game only to leave the course with a few cut and bruises

Yet people who don't play think it's relaxing. The only good thing about getting an 8 is when your partner gets a 9 on the same whole...

Its the club's fault... I'd suggest breaking them when they misbehave.

With Romo I thought every game was winnable, even when down. I don't get that feeling with Dak.

After 30 years of playing with my golf crew we all learned the same thing.

We really want to shoot a good score but the beers & laughs come first.

Thank Goodness for George Boros whose +7 guarantees Romo won't finish last in this "B" tournament.
