Anyone else notice that since AT & T’s commercial featuring Jordan Spieth and Tony Romo aired on Masters weekend, Spieth’s game has gone to shit?

Last year and a half Spieth has been playing like one of the best golfers of all time, but since the commercial aired…he’s been playing a lot like, well you know, that other guy in the commercial.

Gone to shit is a bit of a stretch but he's obviously playing below his standard. But he is #4 in FedEx right now and has won two events so far this season with a 2nd (yes, he blew up, but a 2nd in a major is still a 2nd in a major).

Looking at your posted stats, a reasonable person would think that Romo has been wildly successful, but I offer that is not the case. I would like to see his stats in games that make or break your season because my take on him is he chokes in big games. If not, his teams would have advanced much farther than they have.

What part of that don't you understand?

Understand the game of football completely. and believe it or not, played on a golf scholarship at a school in the Big South Conference back in the day.

I'm not sure why Jordan didn't pick someone who has won a championship to be in his commercial instead of Romo, was Tom Brady not available? Jordan seems to be hooking it left, spraying it right and missing important putts down the stretch...which to me, is very Romo like in big games.

That was my point. Romo is a quality QB when on the field. Although I will say, early in his career, Romo had some "Speith Augusta Choke moments". Let's not forget, Speith is still a baby and he has multiple majors. Romo, not so much.

That was my point. Romo is a quality QB when on the field. Although I will say, early in his career, Romo had some "Speith Augusta Choke moments". Let's not forget, Speith is still a baby and he has multiple majors. Romo, not so much.

Romo, has played ,with maybe one team, that had championship caliber talent. And it was not his fault they didn't go all the way. Put Romo with last years Denver team ........90's COWBOYS etc. Things would be different.
